Send this episode to a friend who isn't sorting their money out, but should be

As the title may suggest in today's episode we are going to be exploring 6 reasons why you should be sorting your money out and getting on top of your finances. If you've been sent this episode by a loving family member or close friend I hope you find one of these reasons compelling enough to start taking your money management seriously, building an emergency fund or even to begin investing and building long term wealth.

This episode was inspired by one of our book club books from 2023, Strong Money Australia by Dave Gow, so some of the points dive into financial independence territory but there is still something for everyone in this ep!

Today we talk the key motivators for being financially savvy including:

  • The desire to change jobs, take a break or not trade time for $
  • Your level of vulnerability to economic shocks
  • Prioritising family and the potential for illness or emergency
  • The psychological benefits of having solid finances
  • Being able to pursue work you love or volunteer without considering $
  • The chance of losing your job
