Welcome to Xennelia! An ancient empire was shattered; it's tyranny overthrown by the people. A 300 year peace saw nations arise, finally free to develop their own traditions and societies, until an army of shadowy mist flowed over the western mountains, invading the land with malice and darkness. The nations united, and drove the Shademyst back, fortifying the land, but not before death and loss affected several of the former nations.
