In this episode I am joined by special guest, artist and mentor Lauren Mantecón. Based in Sante Fe, New Mexico, Lauren has an extensive background in the arts and an intimate relationship with the spiritual world. Her work embodies ethereal feminine forms which are harmonised by tension points and geometric angles. Her focus throughout her career has been navigating the crossing points between Earth and Spirit in a multi-dimensional universe to gain a deeper sense of belonging. Lauren’s work follows the philosophies of 19th Century Romanticism and The Transcendentalists—specifically, their deep reverence for nature, spirituality, self-reflective practices, and personal insight. As a mentor and teacher Lauren aims is to empower and inspire individuals to unlock their creative potential and explore the deeper dimensions of their personal selves through art making.
