Terri’s bio As one of the first women Managing Directors in Investment Banking on Wall Street, at Merrill Lynch, Terri Tierney Clark advised CEOs and public corporate boards in North America, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Additionally, she negotiated, financed, and closed private debt and equity transactions, IPOs, public stock offerings, and acquisitions in a variety of industries. In her post-banking career, she founded three successful businesses and currently serves as chair of a start-up consumer services technology company. Terri wrote the Amazon #1 Bestseller, Learn, Work, Lead: Things Your Mentor Won’t Tell You, and earned London’s Financial Times’ “Reader’s Favourite Books of 2014”. She has published articles in Forbes, Newsweek, Huffington Post, Business Insider, and The Muse and has given keynote talks and presentations to corporations, universities, and business groups. She has qualified and run the Boston Marathon and doesn’t go many days without some form of chocolate.

Rita’s bio From GED to MBA, Rita has combatted a bounty of personal and professional obstacles that she refused to let stay in her way. She has worked in behavioral health, focusing on grant projects aimed at combating the consequences of the opioid epidemic for incarcerated individuals. Over the past five years, Rita worked to improve the lives of those suffering from substance use disorders by bringing about policy change in the Maricopa County Jail system, supporting a street-based healthcare volunteer organization through incorporation, and creating a specialized housing program. Currently, she is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in finance (the area she finds most challenging) at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, and will be working as a consulting intern at Cornerstone Advisors this summer. Originally, she is from Columbus, Ohio but has been living in Mesa, Arizona since 2011. She enjoys hiking, and traveling and has a passion for cars, modifying, and racing.
