Hear the Word Episode 55

Dr. Gerry reads the Sunday Readings in a way that invites you to allow the Word of God into your heart in a deeper way.

IS 61:1-2A, 10-11; LK 1:46-48, 49-50, 53-54.; 1 THES 5:16-24; JN 1:6-8, 19-28

After the readings, Dr. Gerry discusses what it means to “pray without ceasing” with the Jesus Prayer. Dr. Gerry then leads the listener in a progressive muscle relaxation exercise followed by a guided meditation designed to help relieve both stress and the holiday blues.
