"Hear the Queer" will give young people a platform “to stop misinformation and address real issues.” A new episode will be released every 2 months discussing a wide variety of topics such as LGBTQ+ history, media representation, terminology, health relationships and loads more. Young people have told us that transport and living rurally is one of the biggest barriers to accessing sexual health services in the Highlands and hope that this podcast will “…give people of the LGBTQ+ [community] a safe pace” to learn and connect with young LGBTQ+ people across the Highlands. Episode 4 - Interview with a Gender Specialist

In Episode 4 of Hear the Queer, we are joined by special guest, Dr Fiona Gibson who is a Gender Identity Speciality Doctor at the Highland Gender Identity Clinic (GIC).

Dr Gibson kindly agreed to take part in an interview, answering young people’s questions about transitioning in the Highlands. We hope this episode gives young people the information they need to feel confident when accessing the GIC.
