Dr. Uche Anyanwagu MD PhD, is a clinical epidemiologist, and a primary care physician. He obtained his first degree in Medicine and Surgery, from Abia State University, Nigeria. He enrolled for a master's in public health at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria but proceeded to the United kingdom, where he obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Epidemiology from the University of Nottingham, under the common wealth scholarship. Uche is an Associate Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Division of Graduate Entry Medicine of the School of Medicine, University of Nottingham. He conducts researches in Clinical Epidemiology, focusing on Cardiovascular & Metabolic events associated with the use of insulin & novel glucose-lowering agents in Type 2 diabetes.
