Thomas Burke is the President of Saint Francis Hospital & Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital. He is responsible for leading both the largest Catholic hospital in New England and the only freestanding acute care rehabilitation hospital with almost 700 beds combined. Prior to this, Tom served as the Vice President of Operations and Chief Productivity Officer at Saint Francis. He has held various leadership roles throughout his career including Health-System Vice President for Prospect Medical Holdings, Vice President of Operations at Waterbury Hospital, and Director of Pharmacy at Temple University Health System. Stephanie Bradley is the Director of Professional Practice for Advance Practice Providers at Northwestern Medicine. She is responsible for promoting clinical excellence and professional advancement for APPs and developing strategic relationships with Physician Assistant and Nursing Schools. Stephanie joined Northwestern Medicine in 2015 where she began as an Oncology Nurse and was later promoted to APP Manager. She is a member of the Advanced Practitioner Society of Hematology Oncology (APSHO) and recently received the 40 under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders award for Illinois. Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in Nursing from Governors State University. She is also a board-certified Family Nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Carrie Proffitt is the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Encore Healthcare. She oversees all clinical segments of the business and leads a team working to elevate home respiratory care by pioneering a new model focused on clinical outcomes. Carrie joined Encore Healthcare in 2017. Prior to this, she held multiple leadership roles with The Linde Group including Regional Director, Area Manager, and Clinical Manager. Over the course of her 20-year career, she has won several awards including being named the Long-Term Care Respiratory Therapist of the year by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC). Carrie completed her respiratory therapist training at Big Sandy Community College. Early in 2022, she became a Certified DMEPOS Consultant by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).
