My momma and i have always had a beautiful relationship from day one. She got sober for me. She'll be 30yrs sober the same day i'll be 6 years sober. March 27. Now that i think about it, march is mine and my mothers sobriety birthday & our REBIRTH & our new year. (March is the new year, spring equinox is the symbol of rebirth in mother nature).

My mom has supported me through everything and is the reason i ever thought to write a book. From a very young age she would always remind me, not to waste my pain, make sure i see the lesson in everything that happens & write about it because one day it will be valuable in some way.

This passage is an acknowledgment to her & a thank you to her being the best mother i could have ever ever ever asked for.
