Description
Many people with chronic pain have been told to "life with the pain," or even worse, many times the experience of chronic pain is often dismissed by friends, family, and even medical providers.
Fortunately, modern research into chronic pain gives us hope through neuroplasticity- which is defined by: the ability for the nervous system to change based on experience. In other words, the brain and body needs a reason to change, heal, and recover.
Using breathwork creates this "experience" by reconnecting with the body, creating a sensation of safety, and over time can help many people overcome persistent physical and perhaps emotional pain.
This 20 minute breathwork uses a progressive body scan to re-internal our sense of self, our bodily sensations, and helps us to reconnect with both the sensory and motor pathways within the brain and body. This is the first of a multi-series breath work for pain that will be released in the upcoming months.
