Scripture: Isaiah 38:17 “Your Sin is Behind You and Behind God” – powerfully illustrates that sin—originally an archery term meaning “to miss the mark”—reveals our human tendency to fall short of God’s perfection. Yet through Jesus Christ, the price for our sin has been fully paid. From Hezekiah’s healing and David’s repentance to Jeremiah’s promise and Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice, Scripture shows a consistent pattern of divine forgiveness: God not only removes our transgressions but chooses to remember them no more. Just as He puts our sins behind Him, we too are called to release our guilt and forgive others, living in the freedom and faithfulness of His grace.

Be Disgruntled
Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:6-8 Let’s be honest, nobody wakes up one morning and says, “I think I’ll drift away from God today.” But life has a way of sneaking up on us. One moment we’re doing fine, and the next we’re knee- deep in relationship drama, stuck in habits we swore we’d break, and wondering why God feels so far away. We look around and ask, “How did I end up here?” It’s easier than we think, especially when our focus shifts from what we do have to everything we don’t. That’s when the slow burn of discontentment starts. We get frustrated, bitter, maybe even a little cynical. In other words, we get disgruntled.  But in scripture, we are reminded that “godliness with contentment is great gain.” That’s not just a nice idea, it’s a lifeline. In this message, Be Disgruntled, we’re going to talk about how to spot that drift before it takes over, and how to anchor our hearts in something far more solid than circumstances.
