Episode 54: Leyla Josephine
Leyla is an artist from Glasgow. She is a performance poet, theatre maker, screenwriter, facilitator and project leader. In 2014 she won her first UK National Slam at the Royal Albert Hall and has gone on to perform on the same bill as poets such as Kae Tempest, Hollie McNish and Low-key as well as having supported the legend that is John Cooper Clarke on his Scottish tour.
She has also created two award-winning shows ‘Hopeless’ and ‘Daddy Drag’ which she performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival which is where we recorded this episode!
