Haunting The Studio - Episode 3 - "Murder Metal" - Tyler & Andy - Radio One 91FM
The first tentative steps into the real. Tyler & Andy discuss Chicago extreme metal band Macabre via their 1993 album Sinister Slaughter, using their self-appointed style of ‘murder metal’ as a vehicle to consider why the figure of the murderer and their actions fascinate us. Content note: although we do not go into detail about any of the crimes committed by the band’s subjects, the episode nevertheless revolves around the acts of real life murderers.
