Sarrah Vesselov: Building Design Systems that work for your whole Organisation

This is Hatch Design Talks where we sit down with design leaders and public speakers who will be featured in the HATCH Conference, on September the 8th.

I’m Damian, founder and curator of HATCH, and today I’m speaking to Sarrah Vesselov. She’s the Design Director at Honeycomb back in the US and co-author of a book called “Building Design Systems”.

Sarrah and I talk about what sets up alerts that a company might need a design system in place, how to make sure it doesn’t stay only within the design and dev teams, and the differences working as a Design Director after being a manager.
