Dr Catherine Hartung is Senior Lecturer in Education in the Department of Education at Swinburne University of Technology. Catherine’s teaching and research brings together the fields of sociology, education, cultural studies, and citizenship to explore how educational and political institutions govern young people’s lives, and how young people, and the adults who care for and educate them, negotiate this governance.
