Over the break we watched some stuff on Netflix: Stay Close (bingeworthy, with impressive houseporn); The Hand of God (beautiful and enjoyable); and Don’t Look Up (entertaining and with a great Meryl Streep). We also watched Love/Life on HBO Max, which we loved. And we’ve rediscovered The Closer.
Caroline’s book of the week is the latest Ann Cleeves’ Vera Stanhope series, The Darkest Evening.
