Who is Leza Money?
Ms. Leza Money is the Executive Director and Founding Member of Sterile Processing Universal (SPU) and serves as Cooper University Health Care's Central Sterile Processing Educator, overseeing sterile processing education across their entire healthcare system.
With over 20 years of combined experience as a Sterile Processing Technician, Instructor, Consultant, and business leader, Ms. Money has dedicated her career to advancing sterile processing education and patient safety standards. Under her leadership, SPU has celebrated 10 years of service, becoming a trusted name in healthcare education with innovative hybrid learning programs, self-paced online courses, and comprehensive externship opportunities.
Ms. Money holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Strayer University and maintains professional certifications as a Certified Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) and as a Professional Healthcare Instructor (PHIC) from the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). She is an active member of both the Mid-Atlantic Central Service Association (MACSA) and the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
