Who is Dr. Serelda Herbin?
Dr. Serelda L. Herbin is a powerhouse leader, transformational speaker, Master Facilitator, mediator, and coach. As CEO of Coaching That Cares by Serelda, LLC, she equips leaders of all ages to discover purpose, unlock potential, and drive lasting impact.
A retired U.S. Army senior officer and disabled combat veteran, Dr. Herbin served in three war zones and advised leaders at the highest levels. She has contributed to 11 published works—nine of her own authored books plus two collaborative projects—including titles she guided her children to publish, blending legacy with leadership. Her writings span leadership, diversity, overcoming adversity, and the life-changing power of being Married to My Purpose.
Dr. Herbin earned her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Leadership Coaching from Regent University, holds an MBA from Webster University, and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Grambling State University. She was also awarded an honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Humanities for her community impact.
Her voice has reached national audiences on BET, NBC, and the Pentagon Channel. Active in service, she is a life member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., a community leader, and an ordained Elder at The Life Church VA. Above all, she treasures being mom to Victor, Aladrian, and her pup Stormy.
