Since becoming a father at seventeen in a country town troubled by drug addiction and bored teenagers, Jayden's love for his son and strong desire to give him the best possible life have driven him to work hard, start a skate brand, save money and stay sober. This conversation is a wake up call to all the dads and a lesson in goal setting and sacrifice.
Jayden lives in a van. That is cool in the skate world and is a decision he has made to help save money for his long term plan - return to Seymour, where Jayden's son lives with his mother and setup a business. He already has a successful skate brand 'Yeah Gnar' and is developing some top secret prototype inventions.
Of course, weekend dad time is awesome cos dad already lives in a camper. The fellas adventure and go out bush away from the digital nasties most weekends, giving the lad the analogue time we all dream of giving our kids.
Dan didn't make it in person this episode due to a sick kid but we got a phone in with him which was cool.
