A podcast about taking agency and owning yourself. This means having boundaries, confidence, and assertiveness to hold your own and use your voice. We'll dig deep into what this means and how you can optimise yourself to be happy in your own skin, through compassion and respect towards self and from others! We might even have some comedy moments along the way!
Your podcast host is Genevieve (Gen) Bradbury, the founder and owner of Vital Vibe. 70% of us experience it! That means we’re pretty much all in the same boat (7 of your 10 friends, 14 of your 20 colleagues, 21 of the 30 people walking around the park you’re in right now, or 70 of the 100 people currently working out in your gym).
Imposter syndrome! What a crock of s$!t - a nemesis of our time! But don’t worry, we can get through this together…yes, I also struggle with imposter syndrome too, so even just between us two, I get you! But I’ve got a present for you - I’m going to share with you a way to deal with this pesky affliction once and for all!
So to begin, I’ll give a quick overview of what it is and why it happens and then talk about the impact to our health and wellbeing if we let it take over. But we don’t want to do that, no, we want to own ourselves and call the shots, so come with me on a hackathon journey to kick our imposter syndrome into touch!!
If you’re only after the hacks, then fast forward to about 20 minutes in, and the last 10 minutes will guide you through some neuroplasticity hacks that will change how you see and feel about imposter syndrome forever!
As always, if you like the podcast then please don't forget to connect at our other channels and download/share/subscribe to this episode and to the subsequent ones! Also, if you're feeling generous and like what you hear then any ratings and feedback would be welcomed!
Please contact me directly if you have any Q&As or topics to be explored in future shows.
Much love!
Gen xoxo
