Today is September 7, 2025, the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Our celebrants were Fr. Christopher Tiano and Deacon Dominic Corraro.

In his homily, Father Tiano discusses how Jesus uses hyperbole to teach us about discipleship. He explores three key invitations from the Gospel: putting Jesus first, taking up our own cross, and renouncing possessions. Father Tiano reminds us that true discipleship means prioritizing our relationship with Christ, uniting our sufferings with his, and examining whether our possessions truly possess us.
