With the success of Fright Nights (1991), it was inevitable that the event would be bigger, better, and fabulous.
The event was renamedHalloween Horror Nights (advertised as the 2nd annual Halloween Horror Nights) HHN was sold out on all weekend dates.
HNN 92 saw Universal amp up the scare factor. The goal was to bring everything that was successful in 1991 back (Dungeon of Terror, Pendragons, Thunderdome) and create a new Horror-fied Haunted House, two new Pop-Themed Shows, 100 Scare-moving Scareactors, and 4 blood bloodcurdling ride experiences and a dance party called the Monster Mash.
