Scars on the skin can be caused due to dermatological issues or post-trauma. A scar is a fibrous tissue that has replaced the area of injury. When transplanting on a scar many factors are accounted for such as the thickness of the scar, the cause of the scar formation, etc. Usually, in liner scars, the edges are planted densely to avoid failure in growth on the thicker parts of the scar. For dermatological conditions, the transplantation on the scars can be done if the condition causing the scar has stabilized.
