To fix our habits we have to make sure we are tackling the ROOT of the problem. It sounds crazy, but you might not KNOW what your real problem is. The obvious bad habits we have, being on our phone too much, procrastinating, smoking or drinking are really symptoms of other issues we don’t know how to manage differently. This is why it can be hard to usually the band aid for another problem, and without knowing what that instigator.

What better way to kick off the podcast than by telling you a little bit about myself and my own habit journey? With my unique perspective as a community pharmacist with over 15 years of experience in the field, I definitely knew the value of having good habits and why I should get on that early in my life. After doing 2 fitness competitions and meticulously eating and training for well over a year you would think I was the picture of “Discipline” and “She got it figured out”, but turns out that wasn’t the case. I struggled to stick to the goals I was setting and had to learn the long (and expensive) way how to actually do this properly.
