The world we live in today is a different world that we lived in 1776 I do believe that regarding patriotism in 1776 was very different from my what it is today. I do find there are parallels in the way that we fundamentally see being American today and yesterday. Does Patriotism have a connection to White Nationalism or does White Nationalism seem to have a connection to Patriotism and if so what does that connection imply to people of color or people of different religions or does Patriotism even allow the spectrum of diversity that we live in today to be seen as patriotic and is it really only about perspective?
