Matt Bruck EVH Gear launches Wolfgang Van Halen's SA 126
Matt Bruck started working as Eddie Van Halen’s guitar tech in 1990, and was Eddie’s business partner at the inception of EVH Gear in 2004. After Eddie’s untimely passing in 2020 it was announced that Matt and Wolfgang Van Halen would be running the company, continuing its legacy and looking to the future.
Matt joins us to talk about the launch of the long awaited SA126 - Wolfgang’s own model. The guitar holds a special place in the EVH Gear lineup being the first from-the-ground-up design in some time and is a unique blend of vintage and modern themes.
Matt thoughtfully fills us in on the journey of the guitar from inception to launch, what it means to continue the legacy of EVH Gear and why genius runs in the Van Halen family.
