Willpower: The Habit of Success

What if I told you that four year old's who could hold off eating marshmallows for a few minutes were found to have better academic performance at school, better social lives, and were better equipped to cope with important life problems when researchers tracked original participants down years later in high school?   This is a profound finding indicating that willpower is a critical habit for individual and organizational success. Without this habit, individuals risk setbacks with their academics, social lives, physical health and finances. Additionally, schools and organizations risk setting up students/employees for failure if they are not equipped with self-discipline to perform under high-stress environments.
