Writing this chapter was therapeutic. I dug deep, down to the knuckle bones of my past. A personal story that diagnoses the arthritis that is atheism. The choices I made, excuses I had, eroded marrow from bones that would have been healthy. Here I am, a year on from opening the closet to explore this skeleton, about to share the results from this archaeological discovery.
