Episode 10 - Understanding Basic Lab Values

Join us for this episode of "Growing the Gift."  where we replay "Understanding Basic Lab Values" from the 2024 Pediatric Transplant Conference, part of National Pediatric Transplant Week and National Donate Life Month featuring Sara Winn Dong, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, Emory University School of Medicine and Children's Hospital of Atlanta. This presentation is about basic lab values with an emphasis on why they are drawn, what they mean and what they might indicate for the patient. Also, learn when the recipient should reach out to the transplant team. Stay tuned-for organ-specific lab value sessions in the future.
