In an #agile environment, we are dealing with complexity - in essence, we don't know the answer upfront and won't know until we have completed the work - and so we can't guess upfront what the answer might be, how much that will cost, or how long that will take to deliver. Often, people ask why a #scrumteam don't scope the full quarter, year, or 3-years' worth of work upfront and populate the #backlog based on what they have decided is important over the short, medium and long-term.
