Does Scrum change the way you work or the way you think?

20th century traditional #management and #projectmanagement is a very defined, rigid and process-driven style of working. It also inherits the culture of command and control thinking, management, and dependencies. If you grew up in a command and control environment, you simply think very differently to someone in an #agile environment and it is very likely that you work in a very different style to them too. Why is that? Does the culture inform the behaviours and tasks necessary to fulfill the role or does the behaviour and process inform the culture? In this short video, John McFadyen talks about how #scrum both changes the way you think as well as how you work.
