Did the whole Singapore Dream life thing perfectly — graduated from university, married her first boyfriend, had kids and a stable job of 18 years, only for her to realise she was gay and that she spent her life avoiding unhappiness rather than pursuing happiness. And now she’s Singapore’s BIGGEST LESBIAN COMEDIAN!! 🥳
Stories about coming out are rarely picture perfect. It can be messy, painful, beautiful and everything in between. Joyce is such an incredible person and was so incredibly candid about EVERYTHING - being queer, finding that out in the middle of her hetero marriage, the divorce, her relationship with her family, parenthood, her interracial relationship, quitting her job to pursue comedy and so much more 😭🏳️‍🌈
