There’s not a steadier force in funky house than Luke Fair.  Luke went on a production binge in 2012 and looks to continue the magic as we move into 2013. ‘Gravitron’ with remixes from Silver City, The Babel Orchestra and Phunktastike is newly released on Spirit Soul and his ‘Re-ups’ EP is due out on Brown Eyed Boyz on January 21st. Luke’s most exciting project on the production side is the launch of his new imprint Nonlocal in February.  They’ll be going old school with 300 vinyls of the first release, Victor Berghmeister's "Rosamango" EP.  Stay locked into the label’s Facebook page for more details. Ricky Ryan’s coming off a year where his worldwide gigging schedule was completely full and his labels Sick Watona and Avangardia have never been stronger. Ricky continues to produce and remix absolute gems and will be kicking off 2013 releasing some phenomenal tracks. Alongside brother-in-groove Kosmas Epsilon, ‘Last Canvas’ will be coming out on Stranjjur, joining a roster that includes Karmon, Fabo and Memo insua.  The duo have also come together to join Vince Watson and Matthias Vogt on remix duty for Politeca’s ‘Reverso’  to be launched January 23rd on Sick Watona.  Ricky also has two originals - ‘Gorilla Glass’ with remixes from Paul Rogers, Dactilar and Can Costa & Ucleden and ‘Mess Monster’ with remixes from Vipul, Lank, Barry Jamieson and Fabian Argomedo - both forthcoming on Avangardia. Deon is one of the main protagonists for the progressive beats consolidation in local scene. As his main influences, he cites renowned artists such as Danny Howells, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Luke Fair and Ricky Ryan.
