Samsung introduced a prototype tri-fold smartphone at the APEC CEO Summit in South Korea, with plans to launch in late 2025. The device folds in two places, offering a 6.5-inch outer screen and a 10-inch display when unfolded. This design differs from Huawei's Z-shaped Mate XT, as Samsung's model folds inward in a G-shape. The tri-fold is expected to be priced higher than the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which starts at $2,000. Samsung has not released full specifications or demonstrated the folding mechanism, and the official release date remains unconfirmed.
