Valerie Worthington is a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, author of Training Wheels "How a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Road Trip Jump-Started My Search for a Fulfilling Life" (link below), has a doctorate in educational psychology from Michigan State University, and is a certified life coach! Val has been training Brazilian jiu-jitsu since 1998 and was given her black belt by Johnny Ramirez and John Ouano of New Breed Academy in Santa Fe Springs, California.
