Day 32 📖 Stand Still, Then Step Out | Exodus 13:17-15:18; John 19:23-42; Psalm 26:1-12; Proverbs 6:16-19

Welcome to GraceVine's Daily Bible, a space to listen and reflect on God's Word. Today's journey is one of incredible contrast. We'll see God lead His people into an impossible situation—trapped between an army and a sea—only to provide a miraculous escape. At the same time, we arrive at the foot of the cross to witness the moment that changed everything. It’s a powerful look at what it means to trust God's "long way" and the courage it takes to step out of the shadows.

What You’ll Hear :

Exodus: God intentionally leads Israel the "long way" for their own protection, guiding them with a pillar of cloud and fire. He then parts the Red Sea, making an impossible path of deliverance while destroying the pursuing Egyptian army.
John: We stand at the cross as Jesus's clothes are divided and He ensures His mother is cared for. He declares, "It is finished," fulfilling the Passover sacrifice, before two "secret believers," Joseph and Nicodemus, bravely step forward to bury Him.
Psalms: David confidently asks God to "test" his integrity, declaring his refusal to sit with the deceitful and his deep, public love for worshipping in God's house.
Proverbs: A stark list identifies the seven things God detests, progressing from internal pride ("haughty eyes") to the ultimate relational sin: "one who sows discord among brothers."
