Ep. 9 - Leaving Your Parents' House (Gen. 2:24)

In Genesis 2:24, following the creation of woman, it states: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." We must "leave" to become one with our spouse, but this does not mean forgetting our parents. We are commanded to honor them. It's easy to be tempted to "leave" and never want to look back but biblically, while we are to leave them and become one with our spouse and begin our new family, we should always honor and respect them. So we want to cover this topic of "leaving" to be joined as one and what it looks like to do this with walking in honor to our parents.
