Salt M Bank has been on a year-long journey of getting into tokusatsu, and after participating in the Month of the Mask back in May/June for Midnight Grappler Animals, it was time to dunk Salt into the deep waters of modern Kamen Rider by making him watch the latest season of Kamen Rider as it comes out weekly. This is partially to catch him up on the "innovations" (both positive and negative) that have happened in the years since the last Kamen Rider season he watched in full (Kamen Rider Kuuga), but also to test the limits of what tokusatsu can be.

Enter Gotch Watch, a monthly Midnight Grappler Animals sister series where we watch Kamen Rider Gotchard and give our thoughts, 4 episodes at a time.

In this first episode, we cover episodes 1-4 of the show. Did Gotchard stick its landing with its first month or is it doomed to fall into an abyss? Check out our thoughts and find out!
