S3 E8: Dr. David Wright, Multi-Saxophonist/Music Educator

On today's episode, Scott interviews Dr. David Wright, a multi-saxophonist and music educator from Rockwall, Texas. Dr. Wright holds three University degrees in both music education and saxophone performance. In the field of classical music, he was the principal saxophonist with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and is a current member of the Dallas Winds and the Texas Saxophone Quartet. He also plays in jazz and contemporary music styles, with mastery and ease, and has performed with artists that include the Temptations and the Four Tops. As of this interview, Dr. Wright has posted one hundred seventy five YouTube videos of himself playing all or some of the saxophone parts, arranged for various saxophone ensembles, on a wide range of genres. This multi-saxophonist and music educator, certainly GOT CHOPS!
