On today's episode, Scott interviews Joey DeMaio, a recording engineer, guitarist, and owner of Shorefire Recording Studios in Long Branch, NJ. He started playing guitar at nine years old, studying with Jon Herington from Steely Dan, and jazz great, Tal Farlow. He has worked besides two of the most respected recording engineers of all time, Andy Johns, and Eddie Kramer, and has engineered at Abbey Road Studios in London, England. Joey has worked with or recorded at Shorefire Recording Studios with iconic artists that include Blondie, Bon Jovi, and Bruce Springsteen, just to name a few. In addition, he plays lead guitar in the tribute band, “Pure McCartney”. This multi-talented recording engineer, guitarist and entrepreneur certainly GOT CHOPS!
