Sarah and Ria talk theatre, catharsis, movement, gender expression, sapphic love letters and so much more! This episode is powered by Welcome to Times Square. Ria T. DiLullo is a native New Yorker, theater artist, and holistic movement coach. Ria founded The Skeleton Rep(resents), an indie new works development company with a mission to explore modern myth in 2015. Through TSR, Ria runs a playwriting residency, has produced and directed 11 full stage shows, three short play festivals of myth-based work, 60+ salons of new plays, countless readings, a 3-part pandemic film project, and an award-winning feature length indie film, The Great Vanishing: Part IV. In addition to their work captaining The Skeleton Rep(resents), Ria assisted comedian Judy Gold’s solo performance & writing class for many years, as well as provide research, feedback, and text support on her book “Yes I Can Say That: When They Come For The Comedians, We Are All in Trouble." Ria made the 2023 Kilroys List and has been the recipient of directing residencies at The Tank, ESPA Primary Stages, MTC, and The Flea.
