The excitement usually comes from seeing something from a new angle which results in something that looks fresh and exciting to me. I get annoyed when the opposite happens, my explorations turn out to be boring or obvious. When this happens it's really difficult to stop working on it and let it rest , which I think is the best solution... Do you experience the same? I find time to be one of the strongest influences on a project, good and bad. It can focus but also stress. With enough time, we change as people which changes the project. In my own experience, I started a project with a plan to be done in 6 months – I'm still working on it 7 years later. It's cliche to say I wouldn't have started if I'd known that, but I'm sure glad i did. I'd love to hear your thoughts on time as related to creative or meaningful work.
