There is an important candidate forum taking place next week which will feature our current Mayor Irvin and three opponents, Karina Garcia, President & CEO of the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce & Alderman-At-Large Mr. John Laesch & Mr. Judd Lofchie. These 4 leaders will discuss economic growth in our city and much more. Let's get ready to learn, here's the news:
- NAMI KDK & Graceful Therapy are holding Teen Support Groups in-person and virtual, every 1st and 3rd Monday, monthly. Each session will be from 6 to 7:30 pm with the in-person session being held in Oswego (113 Main street). See the flyer for more details or email Sara Gray at: saragray@namikdk.org

- Get ready for the Super Heroes Luncheon! Wednesday, November 6th from 11:15 am to 1:00 pm our friends of CASA Kane County will host this fantastic event at Waubonsee Community College’s Sugar Grove campus. The community will have the opportunity to learn more about the mission of CASA including how to volunteer, and also hear a powerful story from a guest speaker Josh Shipp. Tickets are available online.
