In this episode, we cover the story of an Australian prospector who discovered a large gold nugget using a metal detector in Ballarat, Australia. He kept the actual location a secret but he shared most of the story with the media and the owner of the store where he bought his metal detector from. The nugget - known as the 'You Wouldn't Believe It' Nugget - weighed 2 kg, which means it would have a value of around US$166,665.24 with current gold prices (21 November 2024).
