#1 - Artificial Intelligence (Introduction) with John Walubengo

Welcome to the Goethe-Institut Kenya Podcast series Decolonize the Internet hosted by James Murua. On this podcast, we are conducting a series of interviews with experts in various professions in Kenya to find out how they and their fields are affected by Artificial Intelligence or (A.I).

On this episode, we interview John Walubengo, a lecturer at the Multimedia University of Kenya and a member of the Kenyan government taskforce on A.I. and Blockchain. Walubengo expounds on how those in the Global South can ensure that they are in the A.I. value chain, and whether the machines are likely to rise up like in The Terminator movies.

This will be the first of 15 Episodes in this series.
