Episode 6 finds us in the Gospel of John 12:1-8 NRSV. It’s a major turning point in the season of Lent. We reflect on Mary bringing out the best she has, Judas living in an alternate reality, the economy of scarcity that capitalism requires to survive…all through the lens of Mary’s impromptu ritual: blessing the feet of Jesus that would carry him to the cross.
