En este episodio de Tech Storm tuvimos la oportunidad de entrevistar a la emprendedora de copas menstruales Gabriela Rivera Díaz. La historia detrás de su trabajo demuestra que con pasión y creatividad, es posible generar un impacto positivo para la sociedad.
En nuestro primer segmento hablamos acerca de su emprendimiento y los origenes de la idea de Flow Fem. Adicionalmente, hablamos acerca de la importancia de las copas menstruales en la actualidad, ya que se desempeñan como "game changers". La tecnología utilizada para la creación de copas menstruales permite que sean reutilizables y así, abordar problemas ambientales.
En nuestro segundo segmento discutimos acerca de los beneficios que aporta la copa menstrual a las mujeres y cómo este invento a pesar de haberse inventado hace más de 100 años, no ha sido utilizado de la misma manera que lo han hecho las toallas higiénicas y los tampones.
En nuestro tercer segmento hablamos acerca de la importancia de resolver problemáticas y tabúes en la publicidad para lograr encontrar un punto de igualdad para las mujeres. En este punto, desarrollamos una discusión en torno al feminismo y cómo éste está transformando a la sociedad.
