'Be out in nature, without electronics ......be completely present there, in a state of flow ..... find your joy thing and do it all your life' are some of the gems in this interview with Ann Zuccardy.
Ann Zuccardy is a writer, adjunct professor of English, and a professional speaker with two TEDx talks under her belt.
Recovery from a 2011 brain injury inspired her to challenge conventional ideas about intelligence. In the decade since her accident, Ann has nurtured a passion for therapeutic humor and she studies how humor impacts both brain health and lifelong learning.
Ann not only promotes lifelong learning in her speeches, she lives it. She earned a master’s degree in English in 2019, became a certified life coach in 2020, and began violin lessons in 2022 at the age of 60.
She plans to pursue a PhD in the next five or so years, after she “retires” from her full time job as a technical writer with the U.S. Army.
