Basically, it's a world party :) But seriously, Global Ginga unites what geography and politics divide. We are a radio show (and podcast) that features music from around the world. But we are much more than a radio show, we are a grass roots movement, an event entertainer, and a community partner. Created and hosted by Carla Leininger, from Brazil, and co-hosted by Sebastian Ogando, from the Dominican Republic, Global Ginga aims to be a multicultural agent of social change, because quality music comes in all shapes, colors, languages and sounds.

Migrant Voices with Itamar Erez (Canada/Israel)

Global Ginga is dropping a new podcast! On this episode, we feature a special interview with multi-instrumentalist Itamar Erez, an Israeli-Canadian artist renowned for his collaborative album "Migrant Voices" with Iranian percussionist Hamin Honari. The instrumental tracks on this album are rich with spontaneous interplay, unexpected moods, and musical shifts, reflecting the importance of openness to diverse perspectives in our society. In our chat, I got a bit deeper into Erez's creative process and his views on the current crisis in the Middle East. The episode also features music from unexpected parts of the world, including Bangladesh and Senegal.

Join the Global Ginga on KZSU movement! Promoters, record labels, and artists, unite with us for a worldwide musical journey. We're all about that global vibe, so bring your beats, your story, and your creativity to the mix. Collaboration is our jam, so let's vibe together and make some magic happen. Your content, input, and reciprocity are not just welcome - they're celebrated! Let's spread the rhythm far and wide.

Listen, like and share!  Your action goes a long way for independent artists!  Thank you.
