The Brazilian Day Festival in San Diego promises an exhilarating celebration and lively atmosphere. At the heart of the festivities lies the much-anticipated performance by Saulo Fernandes, a renowned Brazilian artist known for axé music and his carnaval style.
Beyond the exhilarating performances by local music and dance artists, traditional food, beverages and a huge kids zone, the festival presents a unique opportunity for community involvement as it is also raising funds for the “Devoted to Youth” organization.
In this week's episode, we talk to Mariana and Brady Farmer, the organizers of the event, set to take place in Point Loma, or “Brazilian Land” as they call it. This is their first time putting this festival together, but they are convinced it is going to be the "best first Brazilian festival ever."
Mariana and Brady invite individuals to become volunteers and actively contribute to the success of the festival. By dedicating their time and efforts, volunteers not only become an integral part of the event's execution, but also contribute to the local community. Email: info@braziliandayfestival.com
